Detects Fire — Even Without Smoke

Unlike traditional smoke detectors, FireProtect 2 (Heat) uses two A1R-class thermistors to identify rapid temperature rises, making it highly effective against fires caused by:

  • Synthetic materials

  • Smoldering sources

  • Electrical faults

  • Fires that start without visible smoke

The thermistors are positioned outside the enclosure, eliminating delays and allowing the detector to respond immediately to dangerous heat changes.

Heat Alarm Triggers:

  • A 10°C temperature increase within one minute, or

  • Ambient temperature exceeding +64°C


Powerful Alerts You Can’t Miss

FireProtect 2 is equipped with a built-in 85 dB siren, loud enough to wake deep sleepers and alert everyone in the home.

  • Fallback alarm: detector-to-detector within 60 seconds

When connected to an Ajax hub, users benefit from:
